LEGAL / TERMS
Terms of Service
Effective July 14, 2026
1. Agreement
These terms govern access to forge-media.net and use of the Forge desktop application and related integration services. By using Forge, the user agrees to these terms.
2. Product status
Forge is in active development. Pre-release features may change, fail, be removed or operate differently across versions. Documentation and integration availability may change as third-party providers update their systems.
3. License
Subject to these terms and any applicable purchase terms, Forge grants the user a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to install and use the application for lawful media-workflow purposes.
4. User responsibility
The user is responsible for maintaining independent backups, verifying destination paths, keeping storage devices connected during active operations, reviewing media selections and metadata before delivery, protecting credentials and complying with third-party platform rules. Forge is workflow software, not a substitute for a backup system.
5. Third-party services
Integrations depend on third-party APIs, software, accounts and authorization. Forge does not control their availability, upload limits, review standards, data handling or service changes. The user’s relationship with each provider is governed by that provider’s terms.
6. Prohibited use
Users may not use Forge to violate law, access accounts or media without authorization, distribute malicious code, interfere with service security, bypass provider limits or reverse engineer protected portions of Forge except where law expressly permits.
7. Intellectual property
Forge, the Forge name, software, interface, documentation and related branding are owned by Forge Media or its licensors. Users retain ownership of their media and workflow content.
8. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, Forge is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every device or provider, or prevention of all data loss. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Forge Media will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost media, lost profits, lost business, provider rejection or corrupted storage resulting from use of or inability to use Forge.
10. Changes and contact
Forge may update these terms as the product changes. Material revisions will be reflected by a new effective date. Questions may be sent to support@forge-media.net.
